Khan Foundation (KF) cordially invites you to our Khan Foundation Spring Celebration and Reception.

Please join us at our end of year program celebration and fundraiser to honor the achievments of our second cohort of CAP (College Access Program) students and their families.

Our reception will include dinner, drinks, and a guest list of NYC leaders & professionals all celebrating to support future Khan Foundation programs!

Guest of Honor - Majora Carter

Khan Foundation is proud to announce that we will be honoring Ms. Majora Carter at our celebration! Majora Carter is an urban revitalization strategy consultant, real estate developer, and Peabody Award winning broadcaster. She is responsible for the creation & successful implementation of numerous green-infrastructure projects, policies, and job training & placement systems.

After establishing Sustainable South Bronx and Green For All (among other organizations) to carry on that work, she built on this foundation with innovative ventures and insights into urban economic developments designed to help move Americans out of poverty.

Majora has continually set new standards of excellence with projects in her South Bronx community, while expanding her reach through philanthropic pursuits and business interests that have all pointed toward greater self-esteem and economic potential for low-income people everywhere.

The Khan Foundation believes that all young people should have an opportunity to apply to college regardless of their personal backgrounds or financial statuses. Proceeds will go to support Khan Foundation and its problems.

The KF College Access Program works closely with low-income and undocumented students and their families to help them find, apply to, and get into competitive colleges around the US while helping them secure scholarships. You'll have the chance to meet our talented and driven KF scholars at the event as well as young professionals & leaders from New York City!
